The last time we were there we had a cappuccino and a hot chocolate.

I know that it is not the time of year for these photos, but last Fall we discovered a wonderful place for lunch. It is the restaurant in the Musée des Arts Decoratifs called Le Saut du Loup. In the summer, you can dine on the terrace with views of the Caroussel, the Tuileries, the Louvre, and even the Eiffel Tower. The food was very good and a bit creative. The menu is not cheap, however.

Paris has some of the most well-decorated public toilets that I have ever seen. There are also some very pretty "toilettes" in some of the restaurants. The photos below include the public toilets that are located just to the side of the Madeleine church and the toilets of a restaurant near the Luxemburg Gardens that shall remain nameless. Notice that the Madeleine location has a chair for shoe shining and some rather nice plants for decoration. It is a uni-sex facility with attendants to keep it clean. They do a very good job, too.
